Brief description of visual art:

This painting is a reiteration of a painting I started in 2020. Thematically, I felt it appropriate for the theme of Arrival & Departure this issue, as the painting is a commentary on the paradoxical and perpetual nature of duality within the self. It is simultaneously a motif of the substantial shearing of identity I experience in medical training and other spheres.
