Exhausted? Us too. Much has been written (and memed) about 2020. As we near its close, we find ourselves here. Right now. In this moment. And here you are, and what I will say is just this: I hope you’re ok. I understand if you’re not.

they tried to bury us. they didn’t know we were seeds.

morning.
Piece by Paulina Devlin. Paulina is an M3 medical student at the University of Michigan Medical School.
Piece by Helen Whitley. She writes: I am a 5th year medical student, currently on erasmus placement at the University of Strasbourg, France. I moved to France a month before the second lockdown, and I have been working in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I took an unusual route to medicine: First studying Art in the UK, and then working in Neuroscience in France before moving to Prague, Czech Republic to go to medical school. I have recently been finding ways to use drawing as a way to explore experiences with patients. I drew this piece for Auxocardia journal as a humorous way to look at some stressful times working with pregnant women during the pandemic.
Piece by Nina Al-Saadi. She writes:
I’m a CT2 surgical trainee working in Leicester. I drew this painting while working during the pandemic to show us all standing together during this difficult time.

We’re healers\healing, but like shoelaces
When we're not paying attention we come undone.
