In this episode I sat down and chatted with Parker who is a fourth year medical student about his experiences in medical school. We talked about his journey to medicine including wanting to be a pilot as a kid to a childhood diagnosis inspiring a path to physician hood. During medical school, Parker had the keen mind to identify a clinical problem and develop an innovative tool to be able to address this problem which led him to pursuing two master’s degrees during his time in medical school. Parker’s story is a great example of the opportunities for innovation in medicine and just goes to show there is a lot you can do with an MD.
